Title sequences and identity for the weekly cultural magazine Kobra. The title sequences and bumpers tells the story of how Kobra works with different subjects as specific startingpoints for each show. Throughout the show this subject is investigated from various angels not sure of what direction it will take or what the end result will become.
We visualized this idea by constructing Kobras own spacecraft which we sent of to space armed with two digital videocameras and a gps tracker.
10 versions of the title/end sequences were made, one airing each week.

Färgfabriken is one of Swedens most progressive establishments for showing and discussing Art and Architechture. Färgfabriken is located in Liljeholmen in Stockholm, housed in a old paintfactory dating from the beginning of the 20th century. In 2010 Färgfabriken had a extensive renovation of the building including a new graphic identity.
1:2:3 was asked to design the new graphic identity for both the art space and the restaurant.
For us it became clear very early in the process that the soul of Färgfabriken is very deeply rooted in the actual building. The building has a great and well documented history and the actual architechture is something that is very strongly associated with Färgfabriken as a establishment.
We took of from the buildings industrial heritage when we designed the graphic identity, using methods and materials that had a strong connection to Färgfabrikens history.
The foundation of the identity is that everything in some way added upon an existing surface. The signage inside the building consists of a alphabet of rubber stamps, used to stamp information directly onto specified areas on the walls. A variety of stamps were also produced to create parts of the stationary, such as business cards, letterheads and envelopes.
The identity for the restaurant – Färgfabrikens Kafé – is a sibling to Färgfabriken. Instead of gray we use white and copper for the details in the signage and interior.
The objects have a strong mechanic feel to them with a way of construction that reveals the way they are assembled.

Exhibition catalogue for the 53rd International Art Exhibition in Venice. The catalogue is divided in two parts – one that simply presents each participating artist, and one part that more freely interprets curator Daniel Birnbaums vision of this years biennale. 1:2:3 has collaborated with SDL on the second part of the exhibition catalog. The theme for the exhibition is “Making Worlds”. 1:2:3 and SDL asked Daniel and his assistant to gather all things that inspired them in their work with the exhibition, be it texts, books, images or objects. The items where placed on the floor and photographed with a large format camera creating a “google earth”-like image of the exhibition. Each spread is therefore a zoomed-in excerpt from the large image.

Packaging for lamp made by Kristoffer Sundin. The lamp is made out of a description of the city Smeraldina from the book Invisible Cities. The packaging aims to have a equally complex construction as the lamp itself, consisting out of four different parts which is folded together to fit the different parts, but also to create hidden spaces where some of the parts are stored. The hidden spaces are connected to the story of the lamp. The colors of the packaging corresponds to the light created by the lamp, playing with lights and shadows from the construction. ABC-009 also comes with a book printed on transparent paper, where the back and front of the pages affect each other.

The concept for the collection “SS11 – Souvenir” is based upon five different cities around the world. Souvenir is french for memory, and 1:2:3 took inspiration from photographies as a symbol for memories/souvenirs and made their own interpretation of image development.
For the lookbook and film three different stories are told simultaneously. Each story in its own color (blue, red or green). When all three stories collide and interact with each other the image becomes full colour. This technique was used throughout the visual communication including film, lookbook images and ads.
Five different artificial sunsets are used as backgrounds, blended together in the film.
The lookbook is made in a self-unfolding map technique, picking up its inspiration from tourists maps around the world.
